GENERAL INFORMATION
Answering your questions about Hand in Hand 2019 relating to prices, travel, accommodation etc.
TICKET PRICES
Full weekend (from 2.45pm Friday to 1.30pm Sunday) £99
Day tickets will be released closer to the event.
Concessions: 25% discount for over 65s, full time students and those on income support of jobseekers allowance.
Young Leaders: 50% discount for those under 18 on 5th February 2023.
Group discounts are available to overseas delegates and groups of ten plus. These can be requested at info@handinhandconference.com
CANCELLATIONS
You have the right to cancel within seven days of making a booking or receiving the email confirmation. In this situation you will receive a full refund.
Cancellations after that time will only be available to those who are unable to attend the event due to serious illness. A £25 deduction will be made to reflect admin costs incurred. All refunds applied for after 31st December 2023 will not be given. Refunds cannot be applied for after the event.
Ticket prices do not include food or accommodation.
Tickets are transferrable, so consider if anyone else could take your place if you areble to attend.
Cancellations Under the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel within seven days of making a booking or receiving the email confirmation as there is no delivery of physical product. In this situation you will receive a full refund.
FREE PLACES
30 free places are available to churches that would struggle to pay the delegate fees. These would usually be in inner city or remote rural areas.
Church leaders may apply for up to 2 people from their children’s or family ministry team to receive free places. Please email office@handinhandconference.com. You must include your full church address, a contact email address and the reason for requesting the free place.
You will still have to fund your travel, accommodation and food for the weekend.
Applying to be a steward gives you free entry to the event PLUS you can bring another delegate FREE.
VENUE
For our regular delegates, please note that this is about 3 miles from the seafront.
TRAVEL
Road
The venue is just off the A22, on the north side of Eastbourne. There is parking around the church and in car parks for the stores close by (do check the maximum stay allowed).
Rail
Hampden Park station (one stop from Eastbourne) is a 10-15 minute walk.
Air
London Gatwick has a direct rail link to Eastbourne / Hampden Park taking about an hour.
ACCOMMODATION and FOOD
Accommodation
There are a couple of hotels in walking distance of the venue and many more around Eastbourne.
Food
You will need to provide your own food over the weekend.
The conference venue has a café. A short walk from the venue there is a Costa, Morrisons and Dunelm both with cafés, and a Toby Carvery.
