16.45-18.15 Lifting the Lid on Peer Relationships. A Children Matter forum addressing  how we can foster positive peer experiences to assist in faith development and how we can encourage children in peer mission. Hosted by Dave Gidney with input from Adenike Jimoh, Kay Morgan-Gurr and others

17.15-18.15 Seminar: Providing spaces where children can encounter God. Lots of practical ideas to help children connect with Jesus. Heather Thompson

18.45-20.15 Main stage session: The Faithfull Generation diamond. The more facets a diamond has, the brighter it can shine. Each facet of the Faithfull Generation concept is a way that can help children grow in faith. The more you engage with, the greater the opportunity for the Holy Spirit to work in their lives, releasing them to shine bright for the Lord.

9.30-10.30 Seminar: Connecting with non-church children and families. With 95% of under 18s not in church, the task of reaching them with the good news of Jesus is huge. But so is the opportunity! Ideas as to how we can change that statistic for the better. Hannah Legge

9.30-10.30 Seminar: Mentoring – intentionally discipling children. What does it mean? Where can we find opportunities? How do we keep it safe? What about children with additional needs? Dave Gidney with Kay Morgan-Gurr

11.00-12.45 Main stage session: Exploring Intergenerational communities. Hosted by Olly Goldenberg with Bob Hartman and Gareth Crispin bringing Bible study, keynote thoughts and prayer with a case study from Carita Hills and worship led by Helen Yousef.

14.00-15.00 Seminar: Children encountering God. Do we really expect this to happen? How do we provide space and opportunities? Do we plan for and remember to follow up? What about children with additional needs? Heather Thompson with Kay Morgan-Gurr

14.00-15.00 Seminar: Developing a compassionate heart in children. We need to work against the cancel culture that turns away from what is painful to instead respond with care and forgiveness. Jo Griffiths

14.00-15.00 Seminar: Persuading leaders and congregations of the importance of intergenerational ministry. Look at the Biblical imperative and the benefits for all ages. With plenty of time for questions. Melanie Cave with Bob Hartman and Gareth Crispin

15.30-16.30 Seminar: Innovative ways to engage with the Bible. Taking the Bible into the community, using apps, and other ideas to make the Bible accessible to non-literate children and adults. Kristen Stevenson with Gemma Gillard, Joanne Gilchrist and Kay Morgan-Gurr.

15.30-16.30 Seminar: Journeying with children and families or teaching them? Is there tension between bottom-up and top-down approaches to ministry? Explore when we see the different approaches in action and what a middle path that balances both might look like. Gareth Crispin

15.30-16.30 Seminar: Messy Church goes Wild – taking the church outdoors. Theological and practical reasons and ideas for taking your church outside. Including case studies and a chance to explore the ‘Messy Adventures’ resource. Aike Kennett-Brown

17.00-18.00 Seminar: Enabling children to be active participants in church life and mission
How can we facilitate a real contribution from children? Let’s not overlook children with additional needs. Nick Jackson and Olly Goldenberg with Kay Morgan-Gurr

17.00-18.00 Seminar: Supporting ‘fringe families’ as they set out on their journey of encountering God and discovering the Bible. How to help and equip families who are new to faith, or who we don’t see very often, to be powerful spiritual influencers in their child’s life. Anna Hawken

17.00-18.00 Seminar: Wellness in children and youth after the pandemic. What is happening to the mental health and well-being of children and young people in the UK after the pandemic? How we can practically support children, young people and families to look after their well-being and the role that faith plays in this. Nathan Jones

18.45-20.15 Main stage session: Exploring the importance of key moments in faith development. With Olly Goldenberg and Dave Gidney bringing Bible study, keynote thoughts and prayer with case studies from Aike Kennett-Brown and Heather Thompson and worship led by Helen Yousef.

SUNDAY 5th February

9.00-9.45 Seminar: Encouraging spiritually healthy families. Spiritual health will look different for every family. Lots of practical ideas about how to help parents and carers feel equipped and confident in helping their family meet and know God, in a way that works for them. 9.00-9.45 Seminar: Acknowledging the Big Story of the Bible. When telling stories, we need to set them in the context of the Big Story so that our children can gain a
more balanced understanding of God’s plan. Kristen Stevenson
