STEWARDS
Our volunteer stewards are vital to ensuring the conferences run smoothly and we are looking for committed Christians who are willing to be enthusiastically involved in this work.
Applying to be a steward gives you free entry to the event PLUS you can bring another delegate FREE.
This means that a volunteer steward from a church can provide a free place for a children’s or family worker at the conference, or that two children’s or family workers can share the duties of one steward over the weekend and each have some free time to attend sessions.
Stewards will need to be reliable and punctual; flexible; show initiative; and be able to cooperate with the team leader and other team members.
Stewarding involves…
- seating people in an orderly fashion
- taking responsibility for venue entrances and exits
- carrying, lifting and moving seating & equipment
- some stewards may be required to assist speakers with the setup and operation of data projection equipment
You must be available for the whole weekend, from 3.30pm on Friday 3rd February until 2pm Sunday 5th February. Please ensure that you have confirmed with your workplace / family / church that you can definitely attend before applying.
Stewards have to fund their own travel and accommodation. We are able to give some help towards the cost of food and drinks.
